reports that according to the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, the number of births resulting from assisted reproductive technology in 2014 was higher than in any previous year and the percentage of those births that were singletons was also higher than any previous year. According to the organization’s report, there were 65,175 births from assisted reproductive technology in 2014, and 78% of those babies were singletons.
