reported research suggests deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (dTMS) may help some obese people eat less and lose weight. In a 14-patient study, researchers found that “the fecal matter of the treated group showed that their gut microbiota contained more of the healthy bacteria associated with anti-inflammatory properties and a reduction of appetite.” In other words, the dTMS sessions “may have directly altered the subjects’ gut microbiome.” The findings were presented at ENDO 2017.
