“People who leave their sleep apnea untreated for just a short time may face a higher risk of spikes in blood sugar levels, stress hormones and blood pressure,” researchers found. Thirty-one patients were included in the study, the findings of which were published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
