Diabetes: Tape Worm Tx Eases Diabetes in Mice
The salt form of the FDA approved anthelmintic drug niclosamide -- used to treat intestinal tapeworms -- improved diabetic symptoms in mice by inducing mild mitochondrial uncoupling.
