reported that the National Sleep Foundation has issued “new sleep guidelines for all age groups starting with newborns at 14 to 17 hours a day,” while “teenagers should aim for eight to ten” hours of sleep each day. As for adults, those “age 26 to 64 should aim for seven to nine” hours of sleep, while seniors 65 and over should get “seven to eight” hours of sleep.
