Insulin Tablet Under Development.

reported that in a news release, the American Chemical Society announced “researchers are developing an insulin” tablet “that could make diabetes treatment less painful.” The tablet “relies on new technology: a neutral, lipid-based particle dubbed a ‘cholestosome’ that houses the insulin.” So far the technology has been tested in rats.
