Some Physicians Pushing For More House Calls.

“Your Money” blog reported on the efforts of some physicians to revive the old practice of physicians making house calls to care for the sick at home rather than in hospitals. The article points out that many practitioners work exclusively in hospitals, but also points out that house calls for Medicare patients increased from 1.5 million in 1995 to 2.6 million in 2014, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
