US Health Rankings Show More Are Obese, Fewer Exercise.

reports on the annual America’s Health Rankings, which found that “Americans got fatter last year and were more slothful too” which was a return to a “steady increase in obesity” found over the state rankings’ 25 year history, from “encouraging improvement in last year’s report.” Specifically, the obesity rate has “more than doubled” during that period to 29.4 percent of adults, while 23.5 percent of adults “report doing no physical activity or exercise in the last 30 days.” In addition, “nearly 10% of adults” report having diabetes.
