Women Who Use Hormonal Contraceptives May Be At Increased Risk For Suicide Attempt, Suicide,

“Women who use hormonal contraceptives are at increased risk for suicide attempt and suicide,” with “the highest relative risk...seen in adolescent women,” researchers concluded after following “nearly half a million women...on average for 8.3 years (3.9 million person-years).” The findings were published online in the American Journal of Psychiatry.
