Higher Sugar Consumption May Be Linked To Increased Breast Cancer Risk, Mouse Study Suggests.
reported that research “published in...Cancer Research support[s] studies that suggest people who consume more sugar have a higher risk of cancer – especially breast cancer.” Investigators found, in their study in mice, “that fructose, in particular, affects a metabolic process (or pathway) called 12-LOX.
