Accidental Deaths, Including Drug Overdoses, Rose Over Past Decade.
reports over 136,000 Americans died from accidents in 2014, an increase of 15.5% from a decade earlier, according to a new report from the National Safety Council. The report also found that deaths from accidental poisonings, including drug overdoses, increased 78% during the same time period, making them more common than fatal car crashes.
