Low-Calorie Diets Show Promise In Treating Numerous Diseases, Research Suggests.
reports that scientists have found that low-calorie diets, such as the popular 5:2 diet, may be helpful in treating a variety of medical conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and multiple sclerosis, and there is ongoing research whether they may be helpful in treating other conditions, including asthma.
