Insufficient Sleep May Be Linked To Larger Waist,
Studies keep finding the same results.
reports that researchers studying “the connection between sleep and weight gain” found that study participants “who were sleeping an average of six hours each night had waist measurements about 1.2 inches...more than those getting nine hours of sleep a night.” Participants “with less sleep also weighed more.” The findings were published in PLOS One. Forbes (7/31) contributor David DiSalvo also discusses the findings. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-health/wp/2017/07/31/insufficient-sleep-may-add-more-than-an-inch-to-your-waist-study-suggests/?utm_term=.cb4391e852e1
