Plague Cases On The Rise In The US.

“Well” blog reports that “there have been 13 cases and three deaths from plague in the United States in the past five months,” but investigators are unsure why the disease seems to be on the rise. The CDC “reported last week that the recent cases of plague have afflicted residents of Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, New Mexico, Oregon and Utah,” with two cases associated with Yosemite National Park.
