Dallas Ebola Patient Dies

Thomas Eric Duncan, the 42-year-old Liberian man who became the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S., has died. Duncan was pronounced dead of the disease at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital at 7:51 a.m. local time Wednesday, the hospital said in a brief statement posted on its website. "Mr. Duncan succumbed to an insidious disease, Ebola," the statement said.
