FDA Warns Certain Type 2 Diabetes Drugs Can Cause Severe Joint Pain.
reported that the Food and Drug Administration issued a safety alert Friday warning that DPP-IV inhibitors, a commonly used treatment for type 2 diabetes, can cause severe and disabling joint pain.
