Cushing’s Disease May Begin To Exert Harmful CV Effects Early In Childhood, Researchers Say.
“Cushing’s disease may begin to exert its harmful cardiovascular [CV] effects quite early,” researchers found. The 10-patient study revealed that kids as young as six “with the disorder already may show signs of cardiovascular remodeling, with stiffer aortas and higher aortic pulse-wave velocity than do age-matched controls,” investigators found.
